hoping someone can shed some light, I have a vehicle with Moneybarn have fallen into arrears and they have I believe terminated the hp agreement. I have had some letters from Wrights Recoveries about collecting the vehicle however I haven’t responded to them as of yet. I’m aware that as I’ve paid more than a third Moneybarn have to apply for a return of goods court order, however the car is currently sorn and not being used if they choose not to go through court to get the car back what happens to it? Do they officially take off the outstanding finance or their interest in the vehicle? As I understand it if they don’t take back the vehicle I will just be pursued for the the full amount outstanding but I can’t seem to find information relating to who becomes the owner of the vehicle after this.
