  • Help with Voluntary Termination

Please may I have some advice.

As with many others I'm sure Covid has affected me by making me redundant! I have been worrying as I will no longer be able to pay for the finance on my car each month, job seekers allowance doesn't pay for that.

After a few sleppless nights I saw (on this forum actually) about voluntary termination of HP.

I am 40 months in of a 58 month contract so I have 18 payments left to pay.

I contacted the finance company, who were actually very swift in replying to my email (used a template from this forum)
They have sent me a "self appraisal" to complete of the car, it's all online it's literally tick boxing, my question is, do I need to complete this?
From what I have read on here it informs people not to sign anything after my VT application has been sent, it's from a company called VT-VALIDATE. Co.uk.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thsnk you
