  • Activating VT via email

    Hello,*

I have looked on the forum and I couldn't find a definitive answer so I thought I would ask.*

I contacted BMW FS to find out if I can VT my car. They advised me over the phone I can and I have paid 50% so the cost would be £0. They also sent me the official quote via email.*

In the email attachment is says the below:

"If you wish to voluntary terminate your agreement, you will need to confirm this in writing, by either email to voluntary.terminations@bmwfs.co.uk or by writing to Vehicle Logistics, Summit One, Summit Avenue, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 0FB."

I want to know if the below is the correct way to respond to the email to confirm i want to VT the agreement?

    Voluntary Termination

    Agreement number: 123456

    Registration: XXX XXX

    Date: XXXX

I am writing to confirm i want to voluntary terminate my agreement. Attached are the original documents you sent me which indicates I have to pay £0.00 to voluntary terminate my agreement. Please confirm by return acknowledgment of this email and to make arrangements for the collection of the vehicle.

    Thank you in advance
