Hi new on here after some advice. I have a citreon c4 grande picasso on PCP have 2 installments and balloon payment left. The vehicle suffered a major electrical fault leaving a repair bill in the thousands. This is tricky, how long have you had the vehicle? How long has the fault been evident?

To be able to pursue the creditor you would need to show the fault was present at the point of sale, you will need to arguably obtain expert evidence in the form of an expert report..

The car is 5 years old, so it is likely the other side will try and argue that faults are expected in a car of that age. It is probably one of the most tricky legal issues to deal with in consumer law really, defective vehicles are awkward
