Hi. Just a quick question... but when doing Voluntary Termination (all payments up to date and never missed) once I get to the 50% does the original HP agreement then become void? So for example their wording of keeping car in reasonable condition etc and be liable for charges etc become null and void?

The obligations under it are discharged but there is a separate statutory duty to have taken reasonable care of the car. The contractual duty of care is, and almost always, much broader and wider than the statutory one which simply says you have to take reasonable care.If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need.
