Voluntary Termination

Hi All
I am looking to do a VT on my PCP that is due to expire in a few months. Does anyone have a template I can use to write to them to inform them of this? I cannot open the guide I found on this forum, the link doesn't seem to work.
The finance company told me they would send me a pack for me to complete and forms to sign however I have read I shouldn't complete this and should just write to them, is that correct
