While I'm waiting for Audi to respond, I noticed this in clause 4 of the Agreement : Insuring the Vehicle

4.4 If the hiring of the Vehicle is terminated, your interest in the insurance relating to the vehicle will pass to us and we will be entitled to the benefit of such insurance and any claims made in respect of the Vehicle.

What exactly does this mean?

I sent that email on the 18th December and haven't had a reply from Audi yet, apart from the auto-response saying they'd get back to me within 48 hours.

Further to responding to Audi, I heard nothing back.
I insured the vehicle for the week at £25 just in case, with the full intention of using that as a lever point if they come back looking payment for something.

The BCA rep turned up this morning, inspected the car and declared it clean with no repair or over mileage costs.

Wilson's Auctions have just collected the car, so that's it, a very uneventful journey in the end.

I'll await the final response from Audi before I relax and draw a line under it.
