Finance company isn't required to get the car fixed to claim damages so by all means ask for receipts and bills but you are unlikely to get them.

Asking for evidence of the price that the car was sold for might be more relevant but whether they disclose that other than tell you the price it was sold for is the question. You can do a little detective work by keeping check of when the car goes up for auction and either attend the auction online or in person and see what it was sold for, or you can ask the auction site.

          Nothing happens.

The finance company is entitled to be reimbursed for their losses. If the cost of repair outweighs the reminaing balance (inc. the option to purchase price) under the agreement after proceeds of sale and deductions, you canargue they should only be able to recover the lower amount. Unless you only owe a couple hundred quid, the cost of repair would unlikely run into the several thousands unless you really havent taken care of the car.

Rather than ask so many questions hoping for every answer (which I am not going to respond to anymore) why don;t you wait and see what happens.
