  • Motonovo Voluntary termination

    Hello,

So i started voluntary termination with motonovo couple days ago, i already paid over 50% to be exact 67%, sent a template letter, first of all i want to thank you for all who take their time on this because it would be a lot harder without your help guys so i sent them first class post and an email, which they received it first obviously, i received an automatic response from them, and the next day they emailed me that they need my signature to start the process, but my response was that they don't need my signature to start the process because the law doesn't state that, it only states that it has to be in writing, and their response was that they will start voluntary termination process. This is part of theit first email to me

    "Good Afternoon,

We thank you for contacting our office to enquire about the Voluntary Termination process.

What is the reason that you are looking to terminate?

As outlined in your agreement, in order to progress , you are required to pay half of the total amount payable. If you have already reached the half way stage, you will be required to continue making monthly payments until your request to Voluntary Terminate has been received in writing or you advise us by telephone that you wish to proceed. Any overpayment will be used towards your liability if required. Any arrears will be added to your liability."

The question i have, they say that any overpayment i have, will be used to cover as i understunderstands on my car, i have never seen that they would write this way on any of the threads in this forum, do i understand this correctly? I will keep you updated on this termination, agent should contact me shortly they said.
