  • Help VT and insurance

Greetings I terminated my agreement with Moneyway on the 11th of March they advised the car would be collected with in 7 to 10 days I have since cancelled my insurance as I thought it would be within this time scales I have now been told there is a delay and have had to take temp cover at the cost of £100 for the week I’m really annoyed about this and can’t afford to pay £100 next week they have said it’s my job to keep it insured but I’m not sure the legality of this

The moment you terminate your obligations under the agreement no longer exist, except for ensuring you have met the 50% threshold. Its up to Moneyway to ensure that the agent collecting the vehicle has it insured and probably due to their delay, it's their fault not yours.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
