  • GMAC and Shoosmiths

    Hi all

So in March 2015 I signed up to a finance agreement with GMAC, 36month PCP, 12000miles/year.

In March 2018 I handed the car back before the final payment. I understand I have a £90 charge due to some slight damage to the paintwork on the car boot (due to bike rack).

I was about 3500 over my agreed mileage, however on the Vehicle Condition Report that the Vauxhall garage carried out, even though it stated I was over my mileage it stated £0 for what I owed .

GMAC have then passed this over to Shoosmiths solicitors who have chased me for the £400+ ...

I had paid over 50% of the agreement value.

Do I need to pay for excess mileage? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!
