Hi Rob thanks for your reply.

I agree I have nothing to lòse by requesting the report from the day of the collection. Should i use the form provided or draft my own letter?

    Thank you

I've attached an example response. You will need to complete the reply form but in the cover letter set out the list of documents you want from them.

If you want to any feedback then post up a draft before sending it off.

I've added some additional bits in tracked changes. Make you you complete all of the relevant sections, the parts that were highlighted required input from you so don't make the schoolboy error of not deleting or amending parts that need to be filled in.

                    Hi Rob
Just thought i would provide an update. I received a reply from MC on 8th July they confirmed that my account will be placed on hold and they will be conducting a thorough investigation into my account. I've heard nothing since. Should i be contacting them for an update or just leave it ?

                    Regards

It's up to you and whether you want to poke the bear which might prompt them to issue legal proceedings or you can wait and see whether they come back to you. They've confirmed an investigation so they should come back to you with their findings before taking further action, particularly if you've requested certain information from them in your reply.

Hi Rob, i have today received the attached letter from Mortimer Clark, as well a folder with various documents, credit agreement, invoices for alleged damage the Vehicle condition report which is still the version from weeks after the collection. They have not provided, as i requested the original Vehicle Condition report from the day the agent collected the car from my premises. They have not provided any new evidence to support their claim. As you will see from the attached letter they they are suggesting because the millage is over the agreed allowance of 10K per year that i have not taken reasonable care of the vehicle. I would be grateful if you could advise me on what my next steps should be. Thank you for your support regards MC 05.pdf
