  • Moneybarn repossession - urgent help!

Back in 2016, we hit difficult times and received a suspended return of goods order on our small car.
A payment arrangement was made and payments have been made since.
Moneybarn won’t allow direct debit payment so been making payments on the card. Had card stolen last month so payment was late but has since been paid so all up to date!
recieved letter today saying they’d instructed moneybarn to come and take the vehicle !
urgent help needed! We only have 6 months left on the agreement and have paid over £12,000... there’s no way I want to give the vehicle back at this stage. I know moneybarn like this trick as they add hefty fees and extort more money out of people!
I need my car for work too! Is there anything I can do to fend Burlington off?
    Thanks

Hang on you posted early a.m. on a weekend and lots of peeps are occupied with family.

In the meantime I would advise hiding the vehicle away if possible, or at least parking it a couple of miles away from home

Sorry- I didn’t realise how late it was when I posted
I’m not sleeping well with all of this and just lose track of time.
hopefully someone will reach out soon.
        thanks again

The vehicle isn’t at my home. It’s my work car and parked in a public car park in another county.
