      I’ve personally been through the rejection process of an unsuitable vehicle. If you check my posts it’ll come up. And I did a reasonably in depth record of the process I followed. Speak to trading standards and the financial ombudsman ASAP though and send the letter as stated by des08 (recorded). It IS the garages problem so possibly a letter to him reminding him that of his legal responsibility as the issue was flagged up in the first 6months, and down to them to prove otherwise, not you to prove it was. The ombudsman and trading standards involvement should make the finance company sit up and pay attention, and hopefully bring the situation to a happy conclusion for you. Be prepared though, that you may have to consider county court proceedings if you get nowhere
