  • VWFS - Excess Milage & Refurbishment Charges

    Hello,

I previously had an Audi and had VT'd my agreement with VWFS. They had sent a 3rd party company to inspect my car back in June, through following this forum I did not sign any inspection papers and pretty much followed what you guys had said from the get go. I am now at the stage where I have made complaints and VWFS have rejected my complaint regarding excess milage and refurbishment costs, I now need to prepare a letter to the financial ombudsman to fight my case but really have no clue as to where to start to back my case to its full potential. This is where I was hoping that someone could help me out? which id really appreciate!

I had not paid the 50% of the costs back but have been paying this since July which is close to being cleared (originally £4796.24). On top of that they are charging me £1666.82 for excess milage and refurbishment costs (roughly £1100 for excess milage). I have the contract and all paperwork that they have sent via the post if needed.

I hope you can help me!

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

Take a look at the link below - there is some sample wording regarding excess mileage though you might need to adapt to cover refurbishment charges. Also check you email regarding the court case mentioned.
