Hi All,
Im looking for a bit of advice.
I am 3 years into a 4 year PCP deal with PSA finance and I am over my mileage by about 3000 miles.
I sent the VT letter to PSA last monday using the template I found on here from Rob I believe it is.
Anyway I phoned PSA on the 19th and they stated on the phone there was no additional liability due, and they were sending me some paperwork to sign and send back.
I waited a week and this never arrived so phoned them again this week and was told they were going to email me by yesterday.
Eventually I have had an email from PSA, which states they want £80 to pick the car up or I can take it to the local auction house myself for free.
I also noticed when I read all my paperwork that I was paying around £7 a month for gap insurance.
Included in my email from PSA is a document saying there is no liability due on the car but I owe £210 for the insurance, which I dont understand as the maths is totally off on that.
Also the document they've asked me to sign has a paragraph in it which basically says I agree to pay any mileage and damage due to the car, which in my opinion is in great condition so fingers crossed there will be no damage charges.
Im not really wanting to sign the document as I dont want to agree to pay excess mileage, I'm aware this will be a separate battle which I will deal with at the time.
My main question is do I have to pay the £210 for the insurance or would it be best to contest that aswell?
Thanks in advance.
Also, if needed I can upload the documents from PSA finance.
