    My daughter handed her car back recently. It was 8 years old and purchased second hand. They reported £507 damage costs to be paid in 14 days. I used the letter format recommended earlier in the thread and they have come back with asking as a courtesy £50. Result!! FCA really try it on, money for nothing. There will be people intimidated who will just pay it. Thank you Legal Beagles and PablosD great advice!!

        Amazing news reading this.

        I think somebody would love to hear about my case and any help would be awesome. I’m currently 5 years in dispute after daily calls, messages for five years regarding my apparent damages to car costs!
