  • Payment after VT

Hi, my Audi has been through the mill with the recent EA189 issues. Got sick to death of it (been in the shop 3 times in a month now) so I VTed the car on the 21st of July.

My recurring payment comes out on the 25th. They took the full amount on that day.

I wanted to know where I stood in respect of making that payment. Are they correct and just in being able to still take the payment after the VT as accrued liability, or did the contract fully terminate with nothing more to pay on the 21st?

Im in a similar position, I am with BPF and I sent a letter on the 25th terminating with immediate effect. They got the letter on the 31st and are picking up the car tonite 1.8.18 my payment has been taken on the 31.07.18. I have cancelled the DD today and am wondering if I am able to claim that back? OR if they decide to hit me with any charges can I use this to ofset that?

      Thanks
