  • POPLA CLAIM vs Smart PArking Ltd for over stay in free parking

    Hello
I had been issued 2 tickets at Halfords for over staying on 04/2/16 between 12:45 and 14:42 and 8/02/16 between 13:21 and 15:07, the PCN came with 2 pictures of my car entering and exiting at these times
It is the first time I received a parking fine , the car park is free for customers but for 90mn ( I went to check after receiving my fines).
I genuinely went in the shop on both occasions , the customer service was appalling , I was sold products which were tempered with and hence I had to return to the shop on several occasion to fix the urgent problem.
I was selling my car that week and needed to fix it beforehand.

I wrote to Smart parking explaining my misfortune but they rejected my appeal

I would like to appeal to Popla, what is your advice?
    Many thanks

Post up all you have suitably sanitised.

Go to the stores and ask the manager(s) to cancel.
