MET Parking Services have submitted evidence and emailed to me. A lot of it seems like their chancing their arm at best. Are you able to have a look at it and comment?

I would like to respond to the operators evidence as follows :-

The notice to driver says the period of parking was 7.47 to 8.06. This information is required to be on the notice to keeper but the notice to keeper states the period of parking as 08.06 with no other time. The notice to driver clearly indicates this was incorrect and either the notice to driver or notice to keeper are incorrect and fail the statutory provisions.

A letter from 8 months ago has no bearing on authority now or in November and the contract is incomplete, redacted and from 2012, essentially worthless. There is no evidence that the operator has the required authority.

@mystery1 mystery !!!!!!! can you please have a look at my POPLA saga. I am at the stage where the MET has sent their evidence in response to my appeal. But I have a feeling there is still a way to a strong counter. I have 7 days to comment! well 6 now. PLEASE HELP, im your number 1 fan!

Can i email their evidence to you?

No news re POPLA yet. But just wondering something - a friend of mine has got a notice to keeper and has asked why you can't just supply them with a fake name and address for the driver. I couldn't find anything online about it so was hoping you might know? I'll pass your answer on to him.

Because he can be taken to court, as keeper, and if he repeats it he can go to jail. Even if he doesn't then it can cast doubt on his evidence and make him look dishonest. It may work but i'd recommend winning the easy and honest way.

Thanks m1. Have passed this info on to him. Just been wondering something - TEAM (the property management company cited in their evidence against me) are merely a managing agent and were acquired by a Right to Manage move on the block of flats by the Right To Manage board of Directors . Does this mean that they are completely disconnected from the landowner? (i.e shouldn't be authorising MET to patrol there in the first place).

They're a very dodgy company currently in court at the moment for (essentially) embezzlement and many breaches of contract (including not paying building insurance for over a year!)

Well they really should show the chain from top down.

Met are shit at popla though, so i think we'll be good.99%. If it was Mcdonalds i'd be 100% as i've seen the crap they use and regularly get beaten up for.
