  • MET Parking Appeal Rejected

    Hi all

Just had an appeal rejected from MET for parking without a permit. They've sent me what appears to be their standardised rejection letter and have not addressed the issues I raised (i.e that it was dark, signs are too far away and not illuminated). Obviously I need to appeal through POPLA and want to get it right as I only have one shot at it.

    Any help/advice?

    Cheers!

No they don't know who was driving. How much of a difference does that make? In my favour or not?

      Thanks!

It's hugely in your favour. Anyone who lets on to who was driving is effectively giving away the biggest weapon in the arsenal.

Can you scan the PCN and sanitise it.

Thanks very much! Looks great May I ask if you know what the success rate is with these types of appeals?

                    Re: MET Parking Appeal Rejected

I don't because popla moved from provider 1 to provider 2. Provider 2 has yet to make many decisions other than concessions. Keeper liability should prevail.

Popla 1 was easy to win but that was before Beavis.

OK thanks. What is a concession exactly in the world of private parking?

As in MET Parking Services don't offer any evidence? I've heard a couple of cases where they just haven't bothered...
