      Update

I appealed to POPLA in on 29 June 2015 and apart from the automated reply I have not received anything about my appeal weather it is been accepted/rejected or went through.

Yesterday I received a letter from UCS saying that their client issued me a PCN and they neither received a payment not any valid dispute. As a debt resolution agent UCS is asking me to pay 100£ + 54£(admin fee).

      Please check the attachment.

As I appealed and they gave me a POPLA code, I don understand when they say that there was no valid dispute in this case.

      Please advise.

          Dear UCS,

Thank you for your letter dated xxxxxx the contents of which are noted. Please be advised this matter is in the hands of Popla and no decision has been made at this time. As such further attempts to collect this disputed debt will be reported.

          Yours etc

          M1

Re: Parking Charge Notice from Parking & Enforcement Agency

I tried checking the status of my appeal at the POPLA site and when I could not find any record for my POPLA code there.
I rang the POPLA guys and learnt that they renamed/acquired by ombudsman something now and they only have records of the appeals done after August 2015. They asked me to contact BPA and gave me a number.

When I rang them the guy told me that I should have received an email in October saying that I need to appeal again to the company which issued the parking ticket and get another POPLA code and appeal in their site afresh. As I have not received that he asked me to send an email to BPA @ aos@britishparking.co.uk giving my details and the scanned copy of the letter I received from UCS.

I just did that and waiting for any response.

That's what too much herbal tea does to someone.
