Hi,

I've just received a parking fine from gemini Parking Solutions, i was in my company car and was visiting a hospital I have visited before. last time i was there they had a different parking system and this new system didn't explain itself correctly, i paid for my duration upon leaving. this was not the correct way to pay you had to do it on arrival as they have cameras which record your number plate.

I feel a bit hard done by as the sign for the parking information is when you drive in not giving you a proper chance to see it. is there anything i can do to appeal this fine.

Appeal along the lines of


Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The driver did not see any signs upon arrival but having been a previous visitor paid upon exit as that is how it was the last time the driver utilised the facilities. (see attached copy of receipt). In any event the charges are penal in nature and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

Should you reject me appeal please supply a popla code.

Delete the receipt attached bit if you don't have one. If you get a popla appeal come back for further advice. Keep all letters/notices etc and if you can get pictures of the signs.

my letter is different to the one above, they have my DVLA details and such. shall i still do the same?

They have the registered keepers details, not the drivers although they might be the same they don't know unless you told them. Did you tell them ?

I have only just heard back from gemini Parking. they've sent me a POPLA form and also a letter stating about the terms and conditions and the signage in the car park.
where should I go form here?

I'll sort a popla appeal out asap.

Can you scan in any notices and pictures of signs without name address etc but leaving dates ?
