  • U.K. Parking ltd castle car park windsor - paid

Hi , I paid f£14 for a full days parking at this car park ...when I returned I had been given a picnic for not displaying my ticket clearly. I had returned to my car approx hour before my ticket expired. I have appealed but it has been refused ....do you think I should pay up or ignore the letters ? I believed I had displayed it properly and not sure if it flipped when I closed my door but the ticket could not be seen by them. I immediately sent them a pic of their notice and my fully paid ticket. Please can you give me some advise on the action I should take. Thank you

Perhaps if we saw the PCN and the photos might be able to help. Delete identifiable detail. Have you identified who was driving?

Hi M1, thanks for your help. I have uploaded a copy of the letter I have received. There isn't a popla number on it. Should I request one ? They have photos of my car and the ticket was not displayed properly but I thought I had put it in right and am not sure if it flipped when I shut my door. i had purchased a ticket that entitled me to stay there for at the very least , one hour after we left. I don't want to waste your time if you think an appeal won't work in this case, but I do appreciate your advise and time. Thank you

Ok, the link i added was incorrect as i thought it was UKPC but i see it isn't. You are where you would have been anyway had i put the correct link.

This mob are in the IPC rather than the BPA so popla is not an option.

                The appeal option is theias.org

Should you wish to appeal (and probably lose because there is no keeper liability and the appeals system is bent) then register an intent to appeal 1st

If you'd pay if you lost then £60 without a bent appeal is best. If you'll ignore anyway then appeal.

Thank you for your reply. I guess I will pay as it seems like a no win situation and I don't think I could deal with the stress of court or bailiff letters. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.

They have been know to do court but not a high percentage which makes ignoring a viable action.

                    The choice is yours though.
