Re: MET PCN
Hi M1.
I've been sent their evidence as a PDF. Have you got an email address I can send the evidence too as it contains my personal information which I am unable to edit out of it due to it's format. Unless you can point me in the direction of some software I can use to edit the file? Tried having a look online but can't find any free software!
Appreciate your help on this!

Re: MET PCN
I wish to respond to the operators evidence as follows :-
The contract does not state that the BPA code of practice must be adhered to. 7.1 states " In particular, it must say that the landowner (or their appointed agent) requires you to keep to the Code of Practice"
There is no " definition of the land on which you may operate, so that the boundaries of the land can be clearly defined". The car park is nmaed but you cannot infer where the boundaries are from this. COP 7.3
The notice to driver has a time from and a time 2. PoFA require this information to be repeated on the notice to keeper. It is not.
None of the signage pictures are readable with the exception of the close ups and even then some are not clear.
The operator has failed to follow the BPA code, Section 21.1 of the BPA’s Code of Practice states, “You may use ANPR camera technology to manage, control and enforce parking in private car parks, as long as you do this in a reasonable, consistent and transparent manner. Your signs at the car park must tell drivers that you are using this technology and what you will use the data captured by ANPR cameras for”. while I note that the sign merely advises that the “car park monitored by ANPR systems”, it does not inform the motorist what it is using “the data captured by ANPR cameras for”.
