    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your recent communication.

We would like to inform you, you were previously advised to logged an appeal via the website, as we received no appeal within the 28 days as per the British Parking Association Code of Practice (paragraph 22.7), all appeals must be submitted to us within 28 days of the Notice to Keeper being issued. Due to the length of time your PCN has been open, we have now referred this to a debt recovery company (Debt Recovery Plus) who are handling the matter on our behalf. Please contact them directly if you wish to discuss this further.

    Debt Recovery Plus: 0208 234 6775 or 0141 301 2355

    Kind Regards,

    Alex Chappell

    Email: alex.chappell@smartparking.com

i emailed back advising i had tried to appeal

As i have advised you on numerous occasions your website did not work , i have several attempts over the weeks following in the original letter screen dumped on my PC, i also emailed in at the time to advise you it would not let me appeal and i wished to do so ,i refer to my email dated the 22.10.15 i continued to try and appeal right up until 27.10.15 , still it would not work ,i can produce these as proof , i sent in a postal appeal which also contained personal letters from consultants and i am rather concerned that these have been misplaced by yourselves , as per previous mail i still feel , due to your failings to afford me the correct appeals procedure we still have the right to appeal.
I would also like a copy of your complaints procedure and an official complaint logging , plus a phone number to your complaints team

Re: Asda parking smart parking fine

      Well the choices are :-

      1. Pay.

      2. Ignore all bar court papers and if they arrive defend on no keeper liability which should be pretty straightforward.

      3. Name the driver and let them appeal themselves.

I'd do 2 but 3 may be best for you.

Re: Asda parking smart parking fine

Just to let you all know that Asda have stepped in on our behalf , they have contacted smart parking to cancel the fine, The woman from asda told my daughter they have loads of problems with the smart parking and the debt people, we have to go to customer services tomorrow and pick up the cancellation notice for our own records , DRP are like a dog with a bone and won't let it go yet, they are still being extremely vile and nasty on the phone threatening court action but at least we know we can now ignore their threats. thanks for all your previous advice , Just thought it might be helpful for others to know this, speak to admin at asda , they have been great, well done them

Re: Asda parking smart parking fine - won

Fantastic - good on Asda for seeing common sense in this situation. Bad on Asda for allowing such rotten scoundrels run their car parks!
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
