Typical guff. I'll have a better look early next week when i'm off. If you have any letters/notices and/or pictures of the signs it'd be useful.

ok. thanks for your help. I will take a snap of the coop signs over the weekend. Although slightly worried as to timeframe- 14 days before CCJ? I see from your flag you are a fellow Scot. Cheers!

File acknowledgement of service as that gives you an extra 14 days (28 in total).

Because of the court involvement etc. we have reluctantly decided to pay the amount and be done with it. Not a great outcome but at least it gets them off our back.

After speaking with a solicitor, the amount of interest they could charge you amounts to pennies per day so don't worry. What I plan to do is pay the 25p interest owed as well and tell them to cease. Best advice in future would be to respond early to the initial letters with the legal help provided by M1 and the forum and hopefully scare them off before it gets to court involvement.
              Thanks for the advice Beagles!

CEL and DEAL are pretty much one and the same company.
