        Hi Mystery 1,
        Just had a reply from Parking Eye, and they have decided "as a will of good gesture" they have now cancelled the charge,
        but if it happens again I will have to sit on the naughty step. What a bunch of clowns.
        Anyway many thanks for your invaluable help on this issue, and also others for their feed back.

            Excellent, I think PE didn't want to risk a court appearance in this case, the negative publicity would sting them a little too much

              Hi Bizzybob,
              In this instance you are definitely right, the reason being is that in my last letter to them I made it clear that they will not get any money, and If they want to, forget the POPLA code and lets just go straight to court.
