Hiya

I'm back from holiday and received a letter from the court acknowledging reciept of my defence so I guess I just need to wait and see now what will happen.

While I was away I received a letter again from BW Legal (still to my old address) in response to that email I was advised to send them.

Just thought I'd post it here so you can see. I've emailed it to Kati so hopefully she will add it on when convenient.

Whats the deal with signing the letters BW Legal?
Is that strictly acceptable?

Dear BW Legal,

Thank you for your letter of xxxx the contents of which are noted. It is disappointing to learn that you will not correct your procedural failures, hopefully the judge will take you to task over it, in costs (cpr 27.14 2 (g) ) if nothing else.

Rather more alarming, however, is your continual refusal to use the correct address which you have been given x times already. I ask again that you use

If there are any more attempts to use the wrong address this will result in a complaint to the SRA.

I guess so, It's fairly common practice. They do it for statements of truth to, although that is forbidden. Pity it costs £255 to force the issue at court.

Do you think I need to send this or just let the court stuff run its course now? I feel like maybe it's not worth engaging with them directly especially as they continue to sign stuff from BW Legal and not from a particular person that I can correspond with.

Hi all

Just an update to say I got another letter from BW Legal today to say they intend to pursue the claim so I guess that means I just have to wait and hear what the court decides now.
