Thanks for the info. I've been trying to phone the court all day but no reply at all. Just found on their website that their phones are down!! (likely story - mnore like they are just not answering them). Anyway I've sent an detailed email to the email address they are showing if you can't get through on the phones. I'll let you know their response.

Phone the court.

If there is a default judgement it can be set aside and indeed if they used the wrong address a set aside must be allowed. Costs may depend on whether they believe the correct address was given to them. A recorded delivery slip would have been spot on.
