  • Please help: advice/ have court date but purchased my parking?!?

Way back, last May I entered a hospital car park that was covered by Parkingeye. I proceeded to use my mobile phone to pay by phone. I had previously been in my husbands vehicle so therefore changed the vehicle registration via the operator to my current vehicle that I wished to park. This I did and then was told by the operator to finish my transaction via the automated service. The process took 4 minutes 51 seconds and the debit was made. I was astonished to then receive a fine through the post stating I had failed to pay! I appealed, offering evidence via my bank that they had debited my account. The appeal was refused and the case is due to go to court in 18 days or so. I later found out that they have a record of my debit against the wrong registration, even though I made a 5 minute telephone call to them, altering the vehicle registration!! I am terrified of what I will face in court and don't know what to write in my witness statement! I have a copy of my bank statement showing the debit and my phone records! Can anyone offer me any advice? Thank you in advance!!

    Sorry i missed this.

I think most judges will accept your proof that you paid and you'll win.

Can you post up the claim, defence, notices etc please ?
