  • Court claim received from DCB Legal.

    Hi all,

I'm hoping you folks can help me, I've received a claim from from DCB legal about some unpaid parking charges.

What happened was the driver parked the car in the car park, which is normally £1 from 6pm to 6am, the driver forgot to pay when they left, but paid straight after around 11pm ish. I have proof and receipt of the payment that was made.

They particulars of the claim are: No valid pay and display/permit was purchased.

can you please post up copies of the claim and Notice to Keeper/PCN (first removing identity details)
Legible photos of parking signs might be useful if readily available

    Do not identify driver

Acknowledge the claim, but do not enter a defence at this point.

send a Subject Access Request (SAR) to the parking company
send a CPR31.14 to DCB Legal
(templates in SHORTCUTS panel on right of this page)

    Do not identify driver

Is there any possibility you can get photo of the signs.?
really would like to be able to read all the small print.

I have looked on Google earth at the address shown on the NTK (i.e. Car park in Felden Street, Blackburn BB2 1LH), but the pictures are too small to read the signs.

IMO you have a valid defence, but need to see the signs
