  • CCJ Claim - partner in Intensive Care - what should I do?

Longstanding parking dispute (August 2016) that my partner has disputed due to laughably misleading/hidden signage. Just received a County Court Claim form from Vehicle Control Services/DCB Legal.
I'm sure my partner will want to fight this. The only problem is that she's seriously ill in Intensive Care at the moment (though improving thankfully).

There doesn't seem to be any option that would cover this on the claim form.

I'm assuming that letting it run to a default judgement would be a bad idea?

    What should I do?

Perhaps call the court, explain and see what they say. I'm sure there is a form for this. Documentary proof would probably be of assistance
