Witness statement rejected [parking charge]

My name is Tony, short for Anthony. For nearly 55 years I have been known as Tony, but I sign my name on all documents
as Anthony - and I have never had any problems.

My car is registered to Tony [surname].

I received an Order for recovery of unpaid penalty charge. I did not receive the notice to owner so appealed via the TE9 form signing my name as Anthony. This was rejected because the form was not signed by Tony [surname]. I sent another TE9 form signed by Tony but this was rejected for being out of time.

Do I have any grounds for appealing this decision or should I just pay the fine ?

Any advice appreciated.

Unbelievable!.

My signature looks nothing like my written name.

Tbh, I don't know too much about the TEC......but if it were me I'd go over to PePiPoo (honest) for more info.

Bumping this up.

I would like to submit a TE7 form (Statement out of time) and need advice on what argument I can use.

I'm currently facing a charge of £393.00 - can anyone help ?
