Hi, wondering if anyone here can give me some advice.
My girlfriend received a PCN from Excel Parking regarding the Rainbow Slides car park in Stirling. We have ignored all these letters until one received in November from BW Legal stating that sheriff court proceddings were imminent. We sent back a letter stating that whilst my girlfriend is the registered keeper, she was not the driver and was not going to tell them who was, that the fine was disproportionate and that she considered anymore correspondence about this matter harassment.
This week we got two letters back. Firstly, a letter saying their actions didn't amount to harassment. Seemed a bit of a pointless letter!
Secondly another letter saying that their client had instructed them to commence court proceddings if payment wasn't received within 10 days. There letter said they had not received any communication from us which is untrue, we sent them the letter detailed above, their letter therefore didn't address any of the points we raised. They also keeping sending letters on them with the incorrect name. ***Mc instead of ***Mc***. Don't know whether to take their threat seriously?
