Hi, i'm looking for advice regarding a dispute with VCS ltd. In November I received a PCN/NTK stating I had parked at St. Andrews retail park, hull, HU3 2AA. I googled the post code, realised I wasn't there and appealed. The appeal clearly noted that I was not parked at that specific post code. Appeal was rejected.
Further research showed the car park in question is located at HU3 4EJ. Armed with this I went to the IAS and argued no valid NTK was received as the land was not correctly identified. VCS made the counter argument that the land was clearly identified, at which point I pointed out their error. VCS stated it was a "typo" and therefore irrelevant etc. I argued that the "typo" was on three differnet letters and therefore not a "typo" and down to inaccurate records. IAS sided with VCS as I have been told they almost always do.
A few days ago I received a letter before claim which had the correct post code. So i'm looking for advice, This is the first correspondence that recognises the correct post code and does not tally with any other communications, therefore can I safely argue that no valid NTK was received in relation to the letter? Any other advice anyone can give? I intend to fight this in the court if necessary.
