  • Parking charge notice help

    Hi all,
I received 4 Parking Charge Notices initially on 25/01/2019 for parking at Westfield Stratford City.
    each of £60.
Unfortunately, although I was still legally living at my registered address, I wasn't actually living there, but instead was staying with one of my friends to make commuting easier to my university.

I have now come back as we have broken up for holidays, to 4 letters now stating that I now owe £78 (extra £18 for administration) for each of the four parking tickets, each of the letters were dated at 26/02/2019.

Today, on arrival I received a final demand of £120 for each of the notices.

The notices were sent to the driver by S&K Car Park Management Ltd t/a Secure Parking.

And the £120 was demanded by Ultimate Customer Solutions- which I presume is a collections agency.

It has been well over 28 days to appeal the notice however, I haven't actually been able to do so as I wasn't around, but would definitely like to appeal it.

The sign said “Parking of unatuthorised vehicles is strictly prohibited CCTV in use”, and I was actually visiting someone inside the building.
Alongside this, I also asked memebers of staff if I could park there, in which they t replied that they themselves usually park there and that it should be fine.

I have seen that they have now put up a new sign, below the previous sign, in much bigger writing, which was not present before.

Any advice on what to do?

    Hi & welcome

Could you post up pics of the 4 fronts of the notices to keeper (NtK) + 1 of the rear? (they will probably be the same)

& pics of the site signage?

Also a pic of that Ultimate Customer Solutions demand.

Redact personal info, but leave times/dates visible (inc the date when the letters etc were sent.)

As I said on Pepipoo they signs are forbidding and only the landholder can claim and then only for nominal trespass.

Try to get evidence/witnesses who are prepared to state when exactly the new signs went up.

As ostell says, they certainly sound like 'forbidding' signs.
A quick look at them will give us a better idea.
