Thank you for all the info you have added to this forum. Very useful. I had pulled over in Henley to be sick in my car... (I'm not well... recent stomach operation) and was there for 5 mins while i sorted myself out. I'm planning on ignoring the letters... I'm worried it will go to court though. Will I just have to pay it once its gone through court? It's such a weird way of making money from people! FEAR! I don't feel ok about paying £60 (soon to be £100) just because I had to quickly throw chunks.

That's what i'd do. Ignore if all appeals fail unless court papers or a letter before action turns up.
