MET Stansted parking ticket

Dear Sirs,
I have received a parking charge notice from MET parking services.

I overstayed my welcome. 86 minutes instead of 60.

To be honest I didnt notice the signs and I was actually eating and drinking in the Mcdonalds.

Is the £100 charge enforceable ?

Any help to avoid payment would be appreciated

There is potential for tickets to be enforceable after Beavis but the signs must be obvious, readable and enough to make a contract. Even if they are enforceable you could win at popla if they fail to counter your appeal. Also, as yet, Met do not do court.
