  • BWLegal - Excel 4 years later

Hi I'm new to here but would like some advise.

In March 2012 I recieved a PCN from Excel stating that I had not displayed a valid parking ticket in a car park in Chorlton, they enclosed a photo of my veh either entering or leaving the car park.

I replied to their letter asking for proof that I had not purchased a ticket ( which I remember doing as I had to enter my reg number. I was also with another person who witnessed me purchasing the ticket and displaying it in my vehicle window).

I duly received another letter which had ignored anything I had said in my last letter> I sent them another letter appealing their
PNC but again this was dismissed and the letter stated that they would not accept any further contact from me, and would pursue in court.

After reading lots on the internet that advised to ignore all future letters as they were a bunch of cowboys I did so, however today 4 1/2 years later I have received another letter from BWLEGAL again asking me to pay £100 & £54 cost's.

I'm now not sure what I need to do, do I contact them again asking for proof from them or do I just ignore this letter, they have also be contacting my mobile although I don't know how they got my number.

    1. Do they know who was driving ?

    2. Is the letter headed letter before claim or letter before action ?

Just debt collection dross. Ignore until you get a letter before action/claim and then we'll reply.

As this is before October 2012 and the introduction of keeper liability they'll have a devils own job to identify the driver who is the only person that can be liable, unless you identify the driver.
