Smart Parking PCN - Matalan Cheltenham

Almost impossible to get money back from a private parking company when a ticket is paid. You may be able to get it back from your employer, depending on what the contract or handbook says.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have emailed my company so many times in sayin how unhappy i am but it seems im still £50 down. I guess i will hace to get on with it! Not happy though as it said id get a fine i wouldnt park there

I presume that this was a company car/van. That charge from Smart was neither a fine nor a penalty, it was an invoice.

Did they take it directly from your bank account or from your pay? From bank account then tell the bank that it was an unauthorised deduction and you want a refund. From pay then complain to payroll that this was an illegal, unauthorised deduction.

You could start asking questions about who is paying unverified invoices without authority.
