Ok, so the update from POPLA....I phoned them again last week asking why they hadn't acknowledged my complaint. The person was quite helpful and admitted it hadn't been spotted in their inbox but again said they couldn't look at my appeal due to the date the letter had been stamped with their admin department. Kicking myself for not sending recorded delivery but I normally following recommendations from website as to what postage to use and there was none on the Popla website.
They recommended I call BPA direct for advice who then recommended I phone Smart Parking to request a new POPLA code. I think we can all guess how successful that was. No answer via phone and a short email refusing this.
I haven't received any more debt recovery letters as yet........
