Hello, I received a letter from Wright Hassall Solicitors instructed on behalf of ZZPS Limited who are acting on behalf of Civil Enforcement LTD. It was in relation to a PCN, I have been ignoring letters from ZZPS and now Wright Hassall Solicitors have stated in a letter dated 16/5/16, that they require payment in full within 14 days which has now increased to £236.00 from £160. In the letter it states that failure to make payment in full or contact them will result in them passing the matter to the Litigation Department and obtaining a CCJ. They have also highlighted that the CCJ will affect my credit rating, future lending, employment, charge on property and baliffs. Could someone please give me some advice on what I should do, or if I could make contact with the Solicitors. Many thanks.

Re: Wright Hassall Solicitors/PCN
So who are WH acting on behalf of? If it's ZZPS then they can't take you to court as the owner of the debt is CEL. ZZPS are only debt collectors with no powers. You've probably got the letter from the Debt Collector part of WH.
They can't just get a CCJ, they have to take you to court, you have to lose and you not pay within 28 days.

Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.
It doesn't matter where your journey begins, so long as you begin it...

Re: Wright Hassall Solicitors/PCN
Ok, Just a basic debt collector mailshot. Ignore and file.
The client is ZZZZZZZps and as such they cannot go to court as they are merely a debt collector and do not own the "debt".
If CEL threaten court by way of a letter before claim/action etc then that would require a response.
