  • MET - Parking Charge Notice at McDonalds

    Hi,

So I've received a £100.00 charge for parking at McDonalds for too long. I didn't even know there was a penalty.

The limited time is 90 minutes and I stayed for 119 minutes. I was a customer at McDonalds and we had food there and then got a second drink inside there restaurant.

Is there a template I can use to send to them?

Many Thanks in advance for any help.

So were the signs readily visible, ie was this during darkness? Did the notice you receive comply with the requirements of POFA?
Can you complain to the manager and get him to cancel ?

McD managers are not the best at helping but it's not unheard of.

How do I know if it complies with POFA?
Check it with the act http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/...dule/4/enacted para 9 if the letter came via post.
