  • Help debt recovery plus is demanding £240

I have today received 2 separate letters both dated 24/03/2016 for alleged parking charges on 15/01/2016 and 19/01/2016 the letters were from debt recovery plus sent on behalf of the 'creditor' which is euro car parks. For a total of £240
My issue is I have not received a ticket on the car or even a letter of notification. My car is registered at my moms address as I have recently moved and there has not been any postal notification received there (I visit every week)
I'm quite annoyed as I would have paid the charge or at least attempted to appeal should I have know about it.
I recieved a fine in February the ticket was in a food bag under my windscreen wiper: I paid this fine within a 14 day period at a cost of £30.
I am quite worried as I have just purchased a house, I'm short of cash and do not want to have to go to court.
What can I do as I find the charge unfair.
    Thanks in advance

Also I would like to add that after I have entered the parking charge notice number on euro car parks website the fine dated 19/01/2016 states the time was 02:33! I was at home 36 miles away sleeping at this point

If you were not there then contact them and tell them. It could be as simple as a misreading of the registration. Are there pictures ?

I was there on the 15th and would've paid the fine within the 14 days if I knew about it.
However I was most defiantly not on the car park at 02:33 on the 19th. Could I argue this if they mistakenly put 02:33 instead of 14:33?
The car park is not patrolled at night to my knowledge as the sainsburys closes at 10pm. Do I ask the store about the pictures or contact euro car-park?

      Thank you

The first I knew of the charges were demands for payment from debt recovery plus, there are no pictures.

          Thanks

The daytime one, i'd complain to the retailer if there is one.

The 2nd i'd complain to Euro car parks stating that the vehicle wasn't there and also that no previous notifications were received.
