i have received this ticket and i was not the driver at the time of the alleged overstay. I am the registered owner of the vehicle as it is a mobility car for my daughter who has severe learning difficulties so i have to apply for the car for her. I don't even drive. But the ticket says that it was parked in the asda car park from 6.58 to12.59 when in fact the first time it was visited was to purchase bread and milk for breakfast and then was visited again to pump air into the tyre not one continuous visit.

Re: smart parking ticket
This is a standard double dip. They take the first in time and the last out time. Can the driver at the time (DO NOT IDENTIFY) show that they and the car were elsewhere at the time?
You can then write to them and tell them that there were 2 visits to the site and if the matter is not cancelled then you can produce evidence to show that the car was elsewhere at the time of the alleged stay. You will not be naming the driver. (not yet anyway).

Re: smart parking ticket
Contact the manager of the store.
Also appeal.
Dear Sirs,
I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver was a genuine customer and visited twice.
It is noted that your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2102 schedule 4 para 9.
Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.
Yours etc
If/when you get a popla code please let me know.

Re: smart parking ticket
Thanks to both replies and yes he can prove he was elsewhere as my daughter works in a school and he takes her every morning, so she got them to look on their cameras and it shows him driving in at 8.36 with the time and date on it so we have this picture to prove it also the staff will corroborate this .mobo
