  • Parking fine Morrisons Braintree Esssex

Good afternoon everybody, i have received a parking fine today for the Morrisons car park in Braintree from 12:46:32 until 14:51:10 ( a total of 4mins 38 secs over the 2 hours paid for) on 26/02/16.
When the driver arrived there were no spaces so they drove around until 1 became available, they had not used this car park before and were unaware of any logging of entry or exit to and from.
The driver arrived back before the ticket expired but can not prove this, i did shop in the store on the day and have the receipt to hand for £30.08.

Any advise would be much appreciated
    Thank you in advance.

Chib the manager of the store.

Do not post on the net who the driver was or let the parking company know. Won't matter about telling the store though.

Hi, thank you for your answer M1.
I have already called the store manager this afternoon who said if I had exceeded the free 30 mins by this amount he could get the fine cancelled but because I have been there for 2 hours he could not justify this amount of time unless my store bill was £300-400?

He advised me to take it up with the car park company.

      many thanks.

          Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver was a genuine customer (receipt attached).

It is noted that your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2102 schedule 4 para 9.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

          Yours etc

Attach the receipt (keep the original, you should do it online/email anyway)

If/when you get a popla code please let me know.

          M1
