Hi I've been issued with an overstay parking charge for Asda bridgend which the parking is free. after shopping my car would not start and as I had to get home for an important delivery I had a taxi home.I waited until my brother finished work heiced me up and we parked outside his house and walked to the store.we managed to get the car started and I dropped him off.smart parking are requesting evidence to support my appeal or I have to pay a £70 fine,even thought I've appealed.the car was parked there for 6 hrs.I don't have the recipe from my shop as I received the notice 7 days later.I don't know how to proceed.any advice would be appreciated,thank you

Do you have paperwork for the breakdown ?

Contact the store manager to complain and see if you can get a copy receipt if they won't cancel the charge.
