  • Premier Park Parking Charges Notice

    Hi,

Can anyone shed anything thoughts on the legality of this?

My wife can down to Turf Hotel, near Starcross, Exeter, to drop off some camping things for myself and some friends on 11th August. The only way to get down to the Turf Hotel is very a private lane, there is no parking allowed there unless you work at the Hotel.

She stopped for about 20 mins in total before leaving again. Clearly in that time from finishing unpacking the car, Premier Park managed take a picture and fine us without anything else.

I have read various stories about Premier Park and the Parking Charge Notice, I just wanted to know if this is something I should pay and attached the document we received.
    I welcome your feedback.

    Thank you

Just because you are married to each other doesn't mean you are the same person

        Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs. In any event the charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss. Your notice state the driver agreed and yet states parking was unauthorised. These are mutually exclusive !

I will not name the driver as i am under no statutory obligation to do so.

Please accept my apeal or supply a popla code.

        Yours etc

When you get a popla code let me know.

          ha good point!

I will send out the letter and see what happens and see if we get a POPLA code. If you experience going down this route, will it lead anywhere or just stop.

            We'll win, probably at popla.
