piperinc - Debt Recovery Plus Letter

Bit of a random one, yesterday i received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, saying its a demand for unpaid parking charge for £135 this was apparently from 31/5/14 in St Catherine's Retail Park in Perth,and the creditor is Parking Eye. yet we have never received any other notification apart from this. it says i need to pay it no later than 11/8/14

wondering whether its the usual from what I've heard from private parking firms,

Have you received nothing prior to this? A windscreen ticket? or 'notice to keeper' perhaps that you didn't think was real?

I'm sure [MENTION=5354]mystery1[/MENTION] will help, but (personally) I'd be writing to both DRP and Parking Eye saying you've never received a ticket and asking for proof of the parking contravention.

As you are in Scotland, file everything in a drawer and forget it unless you get court papers. If they don't know the driver then they're stuffed.

So should i write to parking eye asking for proof of parking there? As this was over a year a go also.

I've just had a 2nd letter stating notice of intended court action [MENTION=5354]mystery1[/MENTION] Ive tried posting it on here but unsuccessful
